Roadmap

TX Chrono v1.5 (Coming Next)

TeamExpand works to ensure that the quality of TX Chrono performance improves with every new release. Our team takes care of diverse and improved features of the product so that you could feel the enhancement of time tracking and reporting with TX Chrono.

  1. Notifications.
The mechanism to send e-mail notifications will be implemented to Approve/Decline Workflow e-mail notifications. TX Chrono will allow for configuring and sending e-mails when
    • timesheet was sent for confirmation
    • work items were declined or approved
    • reported time was changed by another user
  2. Reported time status.
After a user has sent his/her timesheet for confirmation, the status of the reported time is displayed, displaying whether the time is approved, declined, or still needs to be confirmed.

Future Releases

TX Chrono v1.6

So far, we are planning to introduce the following features in this version of TX Chrono:

  1. Approve / Decline workflow for the timetable (working time of a particular user)
  2. Add Comments on Reported Time.
When adding time, users will be able to enter it along with comments on the work being performed.
  3. Introduce Comments section, where one can enter the reasons for approving or declining the time spent

TX Chrono v1.7

The following features will be implemented:

  1. Make Timesheets more dynamic
Improve behavior of read-only information fields so that the timesheet would predict values that these fields will be changed to so that user could see the effect before the data will be updated in TFS.
  2. Extend Support for more browsers
  3. Improve Logging and Health Monitoring of the application so that administrators could easily track workability of the application and report any errors to the development team.
  4. Add User Interface in TX Chrono configuration
The functionality will provide a user with the ability to configure TX Chrono settings using Web User Interface, instead of making it manually in XML files.
  5. User Mode
This feature will allow lead specialists to see their subordinates’ timesheets and perform modifications as if it was modified by the owner.
