TX Chrono Roadmap

TX Chrono v1.5 Is Coming Next!

Every release the quality of TX Chrono increases. Also, we are interested in more features into the product to help our existing and future customers to use TX Chrono better with every new release.

We are going to introduce the following improvements in the next version:

  1. Notifications. The mechanism to send e-mail notifications will be implemented for Approve / Decline Workflow e-mail notifications. TX Chrono will allow to configure and send e-mails and when
    • time was not fully reported to the timesheet
    • when timesheet was sent to confirmation, tasks were declined or approved
  2. Introduce Comments section available to enter the reason tasks were Approved or Declined

Of course, we are going to do our best to provide you with the software that does what it supposed to.
This roadmap and dates present only current state of thinking as to what features TxChrono requires and when these features could be released. It can be changed since the document was last updated.

Future Releases

TX Chrono v1.6

So far, we are planning to introduce the following features in the next version of TX Chrono:

  1. Approve / Decline workflow for the timetable (working time of a particular user)
  2. Add Comments on Reported Time

When adding time, users will be able to enter it along with comments on the work being performed.

TX Chrono v1.7

  1. Make Timesheets more dynamic
    Improve behavior of read-only information fields so that the timesheet would predict values that these fields will be changed to so that user could see the effect before the data will be updated in TFS.
  2. Extend Support for more browsers
  3. Improve Logging and Health Monitoring of the application so that administrators could easily track workability of the application and report any errors to the development team.
  4. Add User Interface for TX Chrono configuration
    The functionality will allow user with ability to configure TX Chrono settings using Web User Interface, instead of making it by hand in XML files.
  5. User Mode
    This feature will allow lead specialists to see their subordinates’ timesheets and perform modifications as if it was modified by the owner.
