TX Chrono Roadmap

TX Chrono v1.4 Is Coming Next!

With every release, the quality of TX Chrono increases. Also, we are interested in more features to help our existing and future customers utilize TX Chrono better. We are going to introduce the following improvements in the next version:

1. Add Export API. TX Chrono will be suited with the API to export users’ timesheets. This will provide a better integration with other applications.
2. Notifications. The mechanism to send e-mail notifications will be implemented for Approve / Decline Workflow e-mail notifications. TX Chrono will allow configuring and sending e-mails:

-          when time was not fully reported to the timesheet

-          when timesheet was sent to confirmation, tasks were declined or approved

3. Introduce the Comments section available to enter the reason tasks were Approved or Declined

This roadmap and dates represent only the current state of thinking on what features TX Chrono lacks and when these features could be released. This information may have changed since the document was last updated.

Future Releases

TX Chrono v1.5

So far, we are planning to introduce the following features in the next version of TX Chrono:

1. Approve / Decline workflow for the timetable (working time of a particular user)
2. Date Transfers

For some reason, working days can be transferred to another days (usually, holidays). We are going to introduce this capability into TX Chrono so that these days could be reflected in the timesheet.

TX Chrono v1.6

1. Make Timesheets more dynamic
   Improve behavior of read-only fields so that the timesheet could predict inserted values before the data updated in TFS.
2. Extend Support for more browsers
3. Improve Logging and Health Monitoring of the application so that administrators could easily track workability of the application and report any errors to the development team.
4. Add User Interface for TX Chrono configuration
   The functionality will allow user to configure TX Chrono settings using Web User Interface, instead of making it by hand in XML files.
5. User Mode
   This feature will allow lead specialists to see their subordinates’ timesheets and perform modifications as if it was modified by the owner.
6. Add Comments on Reported Time
   

   When adding time, users will be able to enter it along with comments on the work being performed.
